All items are made of wood (or acrylic) and cut on a laser that will create a 'burned or charred' smell. These smells do go away. I make my orders as they come in and are not 'pre-made' and ship out as quickly as possible. When your order arrives it may still have the charred smell. Please know that all products I use are safe and chemical free and will not harm you or a loved one in anyway. All paints are safe to children and pets. All of my products are environmentally friendly and purchased from recycled products. A Girl and Her Laser cares about our world and carries that into every product I sell. All of my wood, acrylic and silicone are recyclable as well and purchased from companies who also care for our earth. You can feel good about buying your products here.
